A HEADLINE A DAY is a blog dedicated to turning the days most interesting/sensational headline into a pictogram. Some pictograms involve a simple re-rendering of the image used in the newspaper, while others rely on a deeper understanding of the story in a bid to find the distinguishing elements which convey the meaning of the content in its most concise form.

The initial 30 day period under the spotlight runs from September 15th to October 14th 2011. Headlines were taken from the Daily Mail, Daily Mirror, Daily Star and The Sun.
